We had fun.
We explored new things and, of course, got our popcorn and ice cream treats as usual!
Then, we had to come home.
And now it's time to be thankful and get ready for the holidays.
So much to do, so little time.
That's something that is said way too much in this world.
Will share my simpler Christmas soon enough.
For now, I am heading upstairs to finish watching "The Wizard of Oz" with my wide-eyed almost five year old munchkin and her two older brothers who would swear that they aren't interested in the movie, yet keep staring at the television.
I'm listing something each day that I am thankful for on facebook. Someone suggested it. It sounded good to me. Eventually, I intend to turn those prompts and answers into a gratitude book. So, what are you waiting for, be thankful for someone, something today!
